  • Yes—donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You’ll receive a receipt for your records, and we recommend consulting your tax advisor with any questions.

  • Not quite. Donations support the mission, and they’re deeply valued. Membership is a separate annual contribution that also includes optional “come closer” benefits like member updates, webinars, and other engagement opportunities.

  • Your gift helps power our ability to make 0% interest loans to circular and regenerative initiatives, along with the light-touch support that helps borrowers learn, grow, and share what works.

  • A big part of the magic is reuse: as borrowers repay loans, those dollars can be re-deployed to support future initiatives—helping one donation create multiple rounds of impact.

  • Both. You can give once or set up a recurring donation (monthly is great if you like “set it and forget it” impact).

Donation Decoder

  • Yes. You should receive an emailed receipt shortly after donating. If you don’t see it, check spam/junk—or reach out and we’ll resend it.

  • Often, yes. If you prefer to give by check, DAF, stock, or wire, use the General Inquiries link in the footer (or your contact form) and we’ll share the best way to do it.

  • In general, donations support the Collective’s mission and loan pool. If you have a specific intent (sector, geography, theme), reach out—we’ll do our best to align your interest while keeping the program flexible and fair.

  • We share impact highlights through periodic updates via email—think projects funded, outcomes achieved, and what we’re learning along the way. (Members may receive additional behind-the-scenes updates, but donors will still see the story of the work.)
